I like the colour style of these pictures. overall, the 4 pictures looks similar, however, if look them seriously, each one use different elements.

These four pictures have one common, which is use electric fan as the centre element.

The first picture use  Chinese tradition Shadown Play ( shadow puppetry is an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment using opaque, often articulated figures in front of an illuminated backdrop to create the illusion of moving images. ) as the main element. The second picuture use porcelain and crane as the elements. The third picture use myth as the element, the girls in myth havs strong power. The forth one use dragon as the element. Because of in China people believe that dragon lives in the sea this picture use sea spray stand for the sea.

Week 5

The last week was the edit week.

Due to the problem we made when we were filming, almost every video needs to be adjusted the colour. The Brightness and Contrast were be used for each video to make the colour balance.

I wanted to make a title can make people clearly the story when they see the title design; I searched some different poster design about Clowning Around

From the poster I can see the character’s feature so I choose the countenance that Karen is angry with Brian, Brian doesn’t care to express their character

Deborah gave me feedback that I can adjust the brightness of Brian’s face, the title shown above is the finial poster design.

I searched different kinds of music for my film, at the beginning of the film I choose happy music. In spite the fact that the spectators do not watch the film when they watch the title and listen to the music they will know what kinds of music this is.

Instead of use normal knock sound Nima’s gave us, I choose abrupt knock the door when Tommy goes to Brian’s house to express Tommy’s angry. I turn down the sound when Tommy and Brian are fighting to make the sound more authentic that the policeman and Karen inside the house Tommy and Brian are fighting outside.

In addition, I add more than 4 details for the film, the cake, the tap, the picture and Karen’s face express to make the film more interesting. From the feedback I correct a mistake that when the actors speaking I should show their face.

Week4

In the fourth week, we were begin to film, before film we made a timetable shown below 

We found the living room didn’t looks like a couple’s room, I take a white tablecloth and bought some flowers, also, we put the pictures on the wall try our best to make the living room looks like a couple’s house

The weather in first was good with sunshine could through the window, however in the second day the weather become bad, we have to use more lights to make the room looks like the first day’s, but we neglected the problem that the colour of main light in Edger’s house is yellow, the shot colour in second and third days’ are yellow which are different with the first day’s.

Make up was another part I was responsible for, after Tommy and Brian fighting, both them were hurt, without professional makeup to make the skin looks like be hurt I choose use girl’s normal makeup to make the leg, the eye and  the face look like just fighting with someone.

We made another mistake is the microphone appearing in the film. Although use premiere skills can solve this problem however the original pictures were destroy.
